INSTRUCTION ON WORK WITH PLACING ORDER PANEL

The instruction zip file (150 kb) in the .rtf format can be downloaded from the Instruction link.

All the actions performed by you on the panel (placing orders, canceling them, editing registration data etc.) are accompanied by messages and/or sending you letters confirming the changes made and instructions on further activity.

ENTERING THE PANEL AND ENDING THE WORKING SESSION

To enter the panel, use Login and Password, which you specified by registration. The panel is accessed at the http://www.softsubmitter.com/site/en/order.html link. Ending the working session is done by pressing the Exit link.

ADDING PROGRAMS AND MANAGING THEM

This section is meant for managing the information on your programs. Operations with the programs include adding, editing and deleting them.

Adding program

To add a program enter the Program section and fill in the offered form at the Add program link. Specify the name of the program and the location of its description file on your computer. The description file is formed with the help of ProfileBuilder utility (http://www.softsubmitter.com/download/profilebuilder.zip) and has .prb extension. The ProfileBuilder utility is easy to use and enables forming the description file both manually (by filling in a set of fields) and by importing data from the previously created RAD files (.xml). Short instruction on ho to work with ProfileBuilder (readme.txt file) is supplied with ProfileBuilder.zip. A detailed instruction on ProfileBuilder is here.

After the Program name and Download description file fields have been filled, press Add. The list of all added programs is displayed in the Programs window.

Editing program

To edit information on the program in the list press the link with the name of the corresponding program:

- Program name
- Number of submission (how many times you used the program submission service for this particular program)
- Link to the program description file (to view file press the link with its name)
- Information on orders for this program
- Submissions left – number of unused submissions (submission package has been paid for but number of available submissions hasn’t been exhausted)

When necessary the information on the program (change name or upload new description file) can be edited. All changes are confirmed by pressing Save.

Deleting program

To delete a program from the list press Delete in the program editing form. This will erase all the information on the program from the panel. It should be noted that you will be unable to delete the program from the list if you have at least once used our service. For such programs the Delete button is inactive.

ADDING PRESS-RELEASES AND MANAGING THEM

To add a press-release, enter the Press-release section in the management panel and fill in the form offered at the Add press-release link. The adding, editing and deleting procedure is identical to functions described in the Program section.
The only difference is that the press-release description file is formed with the help of another utility PressRBuilder (www.softsubmitter.com/download/profilebuilder_pr.zip) and has a different .psb extension. A press-release description file is formed manually by filling in a set of fields. A short instruction on PressRBuilder (readme.txt file) is supplied with ProfileBuilder_PR.zip.

MANAGING ORDERS

This section contains information on all orders placed by you. This information includes:

- date of placing the order
- name of program/press-release
- date of performing order (reserved at the time of placing the order)
- order status (awaiting confirmation, paid and awaiting performance, cancelled)
- type of service (program submission, press-release submission, program placement monitoring)

You can cancel the order of “awaiting confirmation” or “paid and awaiting performance” status. Order is cancelled by pressing Cancel. But please note that the order cannot be cancelled if it has been paid and it remains less than 48 hours till its performance.

PLACING NEW ORDERS

The section is meant for placing orders and consists of several stages.

First stage of placing orders

At the first stage you should define the service, i.e. select the service you want to order: Program submission, Press-release submission or Program placement monitoring. Press Next.

Second stage of placing the order

Depending on type of service chosen, at the second stage a form is displayed in which you define the program or press-release, for which submission is ordered. Program or press-release is chosen from the drop-down menu.

Third stage of placing the order

The third stage of placing orders presupposes selecting the date of order performance. Moreover on the panel the date is displayed (by default) starting with which the order can be placed. This date can be chosen for your program submission. Besides you can choose any other date from the drop-down menu. This list contains all the dates for which the order can be placed. The panel enables placing the order for any date within 60 days starting with the current date.

Pressing Order completes placing the order. Pressing Back enables going a step back and editing your choice, for instance, by selecting a different program for submission. Placing the order is completed by a confirmation message.

Selecting submission package (service currently unavailable)

If number of Submissions left is zero, by placing a new order for program submission, at the second stage you will be offered one of the submission packages (one of the radio buttons should be selected). For each package its description and cost is given. For instance, the package of 5 program submissions:

- submitting any 5 programs or 5 submissions of the same program
- number of submissions is 5
- cost of package is $150.00
- package usage term is 60 days (all 5 submissions should be used out within 60 calendar days starting with the moment of placing the first order in the package)

By selecting the submission package you also select the program for which the order is placed (out of the drop-down menu). The choice of a particular program doesn’t mean that you have ordered several submissions of the same program. By placing successive orders you can choose submission of any of your programs. Having selected the program, press Next. This transfers you to the third stage of placing the order.

MANAGING COMPANY INFORMATION

In this section the information is stored on the customer’s registration data – Login (company name), Email and Password. Here it’s also possible to subscribe to the service newsletter or, on the opposite, refuse from it (by checking the corresponding box). Besides, the language of the panel (Russian or English) can be selected out of the drop-down menu. If necessary, registration data can be changed at any time. To edit all data, except for Password, change the information in the corresponding field and press Save.

To change Password, specify the old and the new passwords and press Change.
